Half Century by Mast Kalandar

 

It was a time of celebrate for all the North Indian food lover, as Mast Kalandar opened its 50th Store in Nagavara this month in Bangalore. We all crave for authentic north Indian food, and being in Bangalore it must be difficult to find a place where you get near home made like food. Mast Kalandar solves your both these worries. They have a chain of Restaurants across Bangalore at prominent places.

We were very glad to be present in the celebrations of Mast Kalandar's 50th Store Opening. Kormanagala location opposite National Games Village was the venue for the celebration. We received a warm welcome with a host of lassi's and drinks. Each of the drinks was better than the other, and couldn't choose one clear favorite.

Next on the list was some lip smacking starters. We experienced some great sev Poori and Samosa Chole. We could not resist having one and in no time we got another dish. This was complimented with some fine Lassi.

As soon as we finished with the starters and Lassi, the main course was laid out on the table. I had so much difficulty in choosing which dish I should start with. There was kadhai paneer, dal makhani, dhaniya aloo and kadhai paneer. Mast Kalandar prepares close to 200 different varieties of "Veg of the Day" curries.

Desserts are the real icing on the cake. The Jamoons were served in perfect temperature and we literally gulped without even a count. I wish I could have such healthy and complete meal everyday.
